death [31 Jan 2006|11:17pm] well today the landlord came to say he only got one of our rent checks and now we have to fill out applications so he knows who lives here. there is no lease and we give our deposits to whoever's room we're filling. also, the guy is a slumlord who's been in jail for a bunch of things related to the houses he rents out. anyway, i wanted to tell him to fix the mold in the bathroom. it's been getting worse, spreading from the ceiling down to the cabinets. i took all my stuff out of there. no one cleans up the water they drip everywhere, and after 6 showers a day it gets moist. it's an old house and there's no vent. but i forgot to and felt crazy on the way to work - there are a few possible causes. anyway, i was talking to dan (manager) about the mold and he said deadly or really toxic mold is usually black. that's what color ours is. so he said to call the health department tomorrow. so i came home and told alex and we looked it up and NOW I AM IN TOTAL FREAK OUT MODE. I AM GOING TO GET PERMANENT MEMORY LOSS, CANCER, ARTHRITIS, BLEEDING LUNGS AND GOD KNOWS WHAT ELSE. i already attribute the fact that i've been sick for the past 3 weeks to this. i've also been achey and tired, which could go with being sick, or could not. either way, if i never make another entry here, you'll know why. 1 / $

Fortunately they leave around the same time as Chris' and mine. When we go to the airport we can see if there's a spot on ours for you too. We leave on 8/30 and return on 9/4. Grandpa put in a note saying to bring layers, and include some very cold weather clothes as well. Though at times it may get warm. There's also a lits of things to bring from the fishing company so I'll get you guys that info too. They supply just about everything. They do say to bring as much luggage as possible because you will have tons of fish to bring home and you can't carry any of it on so they suggest you bring two large check in bags and a carry on. Should be fun!!!!!!! ----------------------------------- :D!! $
